Universal Bromance by ~EvilFrenzy
"The multiverse can be a very confusing aspect to follow in this time and age. I’m sure my ancestors never had to deal with counterparts of themselves popping up here and there, or even those of your siblings. I know during my first encounter, I didn’t know how to react to it. I saw myself, a different version. Then came multiple versions of Twilight. Then her friends. It was all too much to take in.
But then…I met him.
The male counterpart of Twilight, Dusk Shine. I never thought I would have made such a close connection to a counterpart of Twiley, much less with my female counterpart, Gleaming. But it seemed like the bond between Dusk and myself grew immediately and never stopped blossoming. We’ve spoken on many topics, both personal and private matters. We’ve had our share of fun together, and our own moments. We may not be blood related, but the bond we share is identical to the one I share with Twiley.
Who’s to say we can’t form a blood connection to a pony not of the bloodline? Sure, we may be from different worlds, but our family name is the same. Two stallions of the Sparkle bloodline, separated by time and space but able to enjoy our company together. He may still have a lot of growing up to do, but I couldn’t be happier watching him mature into the fine stallion he’s becoming day after day. He even does some of the same mistakes that Twilight does, and it’s rather funny to see it happen. But through thick and thin, we are family and will forever be.
Dusk, I love you, little brother. Never stop being yourself, and never stop growing up. Because one day, when destiny calls for you, I know you’ll be ready to take on any challenge thrown your way. I’ll always cheer you on, watching you prosper.”
